West End Markets

Are you a talented maker, crafter, jeweller, artist, provedore, grower, musician or master chef living in the North West?
Now is time to prepare for the West End Markets - Port Hedland's only dedicated makers' markets set in the West End's lush cultural precinct.
The West End Markets offer local makers the opportunity to sell their wares in a marketplace geared towards creativity and which supports local makers and their products.
2012 will see the markets run April 21, June 23, August 25 and October 27.
The Courthouse Gallery will run a series of crafting and marketing workshops for potential stall holders leading up to each West End Market.
The first workshop in February 2012 was The Works: Craft, Design and Know-How for Markets, an inspiring and exciting weekend workshop run by some of the State's most talented crafters: jewellery and object makers Helena Bogucki, Carrie McDowell and Carolyn Gorman and textile and fashion designer Isobel Macaulay.
If you missed out on this workshop, there will be another held in late March - watch this space for dates and more information. This workshop offers current and aspiring stallholders and local craftmakers a unique professional development opportunity.
FORM are on the lookout for more local makers, entertainers, cooks and creatives to join the West End Markets.
