Let's Get Started!
The Let's Get Started! painting workshops for Indigenous artists were launched in November 2008 as part of FORM's vision to nurture, develop and showcase Indigenous art of the North West.
P.H.otography 2008
The Gallery's much anticipated P.H.otography workshops were launched in July of this year, with over 50 participants and eight professional photographers leading participants through the technical and creative side of photography.
Mem Fox
The Courthouse Gallery was thrilled to present Mem Fox, one of Australia's most highly regarded children's story book authors such as the much loved Possum Magic, Wombat Divine and A Particular Cow, to Hedland.
Return to Country
The Gallery played host to a Return to Country session as part of the Marumili Exhibition, with visiting Martumili Artists and facilitated by the Karninyinpa Jukurpa - Martu Hisotry and Archive Project.
Are We There Yet?
Much loved children's storybook authors and illustrators Alison Lester, Anne James, David Miller, Danny Katz and Mitch Vane treated school students to two days of laughter, fun and imagination through a variety of stimulating workshops.
Woven Forms - Clever With Our Hands
245 school children, 8 teenagers and 85 adults attended the Clever with our Hands public workshops held at the Port Hedland Courthouse Gallery, delivered as part of the Woven Forms exhibition.
Too Captivating - Meet the Artists
On the Saturday following the official opening of Too Captivating, local artists Di Jackson and Melissa North each held a session which provided community engagement in each of their unique exhibitions.
